At this time, only non-fiction books are being supported. Fiction books are not available but this might change in future.
Word Limit:
You can create books with word counts of up to 150,000 words.
Free vs. Commercial:
Free Books have a limit of 20,000 words; they cannot use custom sources and are publicly accessible on the Youbooks site.
Commercial Books can be private, longer and custom sources are allowed.
Content Restrictions:
Youbooks does not produce any book which contains offensive or inappropriate material.
Quality Assurance:
Even though they try their best to provide high-quality outputs there may be times when AI models make mistakes or “hallucinate”. Therefore always double check any content generated by them against reliable sources before taking it as fact.
Editing and Regeneration:
Feel free to modify any generated book as necessary then regenerate another one with different parameters if needed.
Keep in mind that right now Youbook’s goal is to offer an automated book creation solution with minimal human intervention. While it is possible to guide the process through description and sources currently there is no option to review or change the AI-generated outline before full book creation.
